When the Chamber receives inquiries for products and services they are referred to members first.
Corporate and Federal Procurement Opportunities
The Chamber seeks government bids and municipal, state and federal contracting opportunities to provide to members.
Joint Venture Opportunities
We will assist you in building coalitions with other organizations to help strengthen your business position.
The Chamber Needs:
The Chamber is interested in getting more people involved and active in the organization.  Members are invited and encouraged to participate in one or more of the Chamber's committees which are briefly described below. 
Don't delay, get involved and make a difference!  Meet new people and connect with the community through your Chamber. To participate call the Chamber at 254-235-3204.
Ambassadors: The Ambassadors have a very important role in the Chamber. They act as hosts for Chamber meetings and events, welcome new members to the Chamber, and provide valuable input to the Chamber operation regarding the membership interests and needs. They meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month at noon.

Annual Awards Dinner: Their mission is to planning and promotes the annual Gala Awards Dinner, solicit nominations for award recipients, promote silent auction participation, and oversee event details such as site selection, entertainment, menu, theme and more. The awards include Corporate Business of the Year, Visions of Excellence, Business of the Year, Public Service, Excellence in Education and Rising Star(s). They meet on an as needed basis.

Golf Tournament:  Organize and promote the annual golf classic. Partial proceeds help fund the Chamber's college scholarship program.

Education: Work with school officials to champion the cause of education to meet the mission to provide highest quality of education at all levels

Faith-Based Alliance - Meeting the Needs of the Community
The purpose of this committee is to provide support to our church leaders. This committee is organized to:
  • Deal with issues ranging from how to start a non-profit organization
  • Identify funding sources for faith based organizations of all races and ethnicities
  • Provide an organized voice to address the needs of the community
  • Distribute important information to the community
  • Commit to social change and economic improvement
Chair: Pastor Willie Tompkins, New Generation Church, Inc.
Governmental Affairs: Analyze emerging issues to determine their impact, develop a legislative agenda based on community input, invite members and stakeholders to present issues and monitor ongoing commitments made by officials.

Juneteenth Celebration 09: Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States.  Today Juneteenth focuses on celebrating the culture, family, education, and self improvement. They meet the last Thursday of the month.
Job Fair
Supporting the economic growth of Waco/McLennan County by assisting employers with finding new employees.

Membership: Help promote the programs, services and activities of the Chamber to increase participation among current members and to attract new members, thereby making the Chamber a stronger organization.

Financial Success Club: the Financial Success Club is designed to give entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs and individuals access to advice, seminars, books and principles of financial success and organize an annual retreat.

Women In Business Alliance
Women and their guest are invited to join us for networking and professional development. We will be discussing topics that affect women. This committee is responsible for planning and facilitating our Women's activities.

Interns Get Involved
We welcome student interns to assist in the office with daily activities, or work from home on a specific project. There are great opportunities to be involved with exciting events. Show your support by volunteering a few hours of your time and talent. We're confident you'll find it very rewarding to be involved. Check with their school for details on receiving credit for their internship.
